Ledger Instructions for Staking CULT
never come with seed words in the box. Read all of these instructions prior to starting so that you know what to expect.
Download a secure browser such as Brave.
Install the Metamask extension for your browser from https://metamask.io/download/ and
make sure to double-check the address.
a. Create a new wallet if you don't already have a MM one (if you have one just
import your recovery phrase**). MM doesn't give you the option to** connect your Ledger until you have at least one existing MM wallet.
b. Create a password and keep it secure.
c**. Write down your 12** seed words. Do not screenshot it, email it to yourself, save it in a note on your phone, etc. Write it on a piece of paper and store it somewhere safe. If you lose it, you will lose your crypto.
d. Confirm your seed words on the next screen.
4. Download & install the Ledger Live app from ledger.com/ledger-live, the app should walk
you through the process but it will consist of the following:
a. Select the type of device
b**. Set up a new device**
c. Connect your Ledger to your computer
d. Your Ledger will have two buttons which you will use to move right and left
through the menu. Clicking both buttons is the same as hitting enter or select. You will have options to enter, approve, deny, or quit.
